Set within 10 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland, Hesslewood Office Park brings together a vibrant community of forward-thinking businesses, all enjoying the peace, character, and creativity our setting inspires. It’s a special place where nature and business work hand in hand, and The Dovecote marks the next step in our journey to create inspiring, sustainable workspaces here in East Yorkshire.
About The Dovecote
The Dovecote is a brand-new, two-storey office building designed and developed by Brooklands Property Holdings Ltd. Its design takes cues from the architectural aesthetic of our much-loved Treetops development, blending Hesslewood’s heritage charm with a fresh, contemporary feel.
From the outset, it was important that The Dovecote was built across two floors to maximise its long-term viability as a modern office space. The building delivers Grade A energy efficiency, complete with solar panels, underfloor heating, and thoughtfully structured open areas that celebrate natural light.
Construction began in December 2024 and was completed by October 2025 – a proud milestone for the Brooklands team.
Inside, the space balances practicality with comfort: high-quality finishes, flexible layouts, and an atmosphere designed to help teams feel at home and do their best work.
Welcoming Adams & Green Ltd
We’re delighted that Adams & Green, a respected name in the UK’s feed fat production sector, chose The Dovecote as the next chapter in their journey. Based in East Yorkshire with a dedicated FEMAS-accredited facility in Hull, they’re known for exceptional service, technical expertise, and a commitment to innovation and quality.
Their team were “instantly drawn to Hesslewood Office Park’s unique character and peaceful setting,” adding that The Dovecote offered “the perfect balance between charm and functionality – a modern, professional workspace within such a beautiful, historic environment.”
Adams & Green secured their tenancy off-plan, allowing for close collaboration during the fit-out process. We enjoyed many productive meetings with Hannah Cochrane (Business Executive Assistant) and Stephanie Hoff (General Manager) to refine layout, design, and the small details that make The Dovecote truly work for its people.
They shared that the Brooklands team “listened to what we wanted, understood our brand, and made sure everything was just right. Their attention to detail made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.”
With a growing team led by owner and Managing Director Rob Brocklesby, the company takes pride in both its technical expertise and strong team culture. Rob himself is no stranger to a challenge – his recent trio of charity events, including the Copenhagen Iron Man, the Bridge-to-Bridge cycle, and the Yorkshire Marathon, raised an incredible £15,000 for two charities, P.A.U.L for Brain Recovery and The Sailor’s Children’s Society.
The Dovecote will also be home to office staff from Adams & Green’s associated companies, Atom Beers – a science-led Yorkshire brewery known for bold, expressive flavours and design – and Pringle & Collins, specialists in responsibly sourcing and transforming technical oils for the UK biofuel industry. It’s a fantastic mix of talent, innovation, and community-minded leadership.
A Space Designed for Their Team
Adams & Green were keen for their new workspace to reflect who they are – professional, approachable, and forward-thinking. Natural light, comfortable meeting spaces, and thoughtful finishes were especially important to them.
“The new layout gives us a great mix of open, collaborative areas and quiet spaces for focused work,” they told us. “It really supports how we like to work as a team – sharing ideas, staying connected, but also having room for creativity and productivity.”
The result is a bright, flexible environment that already feels like home. “The space already feels like home, and the team have settled in quickly. It’s inspiring to come to work in such a lovely setting — the views, the atmosphere, and even the small details have made a big difference to our day.”

The arrival of Adams & Green marks another exciting milestone for Hesslewood Office Park as we continue to grow a thriving, collaborative business community. Their team have already embraced everything Hesslewood offers, sharing that “the sense of community and the peaceful surroundings are a big plus,” with the on-site Grubb at Hesslewood deli proving to be a popular bonus too! We know that they have been warmly welcomed by their neighbours at Hesslewood – we spotted a lovely gesture left for them by the Sailor’s Children’s Society.
Looking ahead, the move is a meaningful one for the business. “This move represents an exciting step forward for Adams & Green. It gives us the space and environment we need for future expansion… and we couldn’t be happier with where we’ve landed.”
