The 2025 Charity Event

We were back this summer with the 5th ‘Classic Cars at Hesslewood‘ charity event – this year supporting Humber Rescue!

Whether you are a vintage vehicle fan or not, with so many attractions and activities for the whole family to enjoy, this 100% not-for-profit fundraiser was a day out for everyone to take part in.

Coming Together to Serve Local Communities

Hesslewood Charitable Causes Fund was founded by Brooklands Property Holdings on the principle of serving local, grassroots charities and volunteer-led organisations.

Through annual fundraising events, and with the generous support of local businesses and individuals, we are proud to support fantastic projects that have a tangible benefit on our local community.

Raising the Roof for North Ferriby Riding for the Disabled

The 2024 Charity Project

Throughout 2024, Brooklands Property Holdings and Hesslewood Charitable Causes Fund have worked closely with North Ferriby Riding for the Disabled, to raise funds and build an all-weather riding arena.

The charity are a self-funded, volunteer-led charity that desperately needed a roof over the riding arena, allowing them to:
Provide year-round lessons
Support SEND Children and Young Adults
Offer a Safe Space

Behind The Scenes of the 2024 project

December – Hesslewood Charitable Causes team began planning for the annual ‘Classic Cars at Hesslewood’ charity event.

February – Big news from Brooklands Property Holdings, as in February, that the planning permission for the arena had been granted.

August – Classic Cars at Hesslewood Charity Event took place at Hesslewood Office Park, with 100% of raised funds also going directly to the charity project.

September – The build began, with the foundations being dug and the steel structure being built.

October – Our founder, Debbie, completed the Lares Trek to continue to raise funds for the final push.

November – The roof is up, with Brooklands Property Holdings steering the way through the final touches!
