Humber Wellbeing Hub

Preventing Crisis, Supporting Recovery
We proud to support Humber Wellbeing Hub this year – a charity dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing across our local community.
The Hub provides accessible support for individuals facing mental health challenges, helping people reduce isolation, build resilience and find the guidance they need through difficult times. By offering early intervention, practical support and ongoing encouragement, they help individuals take positive steps towards better wellbeing and a more stable future.
Located in the peaceful surroundings of Humber Bridge Country Park, the Hub offers a welcoming and calming environment where people can access support, reconnect with others and focus on their recovery. Their work plays a vital role both in preventing crises before they happen and helping people rebuild their lives afterwards.
Through compassion, understanding and community support, Humber Wellbeing Hub continues to make a meaningful difference to the lives of people across our region.
Humber Rescue

Independent, Volunteer-Led, Life-Saving
We are also proud to support Humber Rescue again this year. They are an incredible volunteer-led organisation that provides a vital search and rescue service across the Humber Estuary and its surrounding waterways.
Covering more than 540 square kilometres, their crews operate across the Humber and along the Rivers Hull, Trent and Ouse, often working in fast-moving tides and extremely challenging conditions. When emergencies happen on the water, Humber Rescue’s volunteers respond quickly and professionally, helping to protect lives when every second counts.
Founded in 1989, Humber Rescue is entirely independent and volunteer-run, receiving no government funding. Around 30 highly trained volunteers give more than 5,000 hours of their time each year, ensuring that help is always available for those in danger on our local waterways.
Keeping this life-saving service operational costs around £60,000 each year, funded entirely through donations and community support. Their dedication, courage and commitment make a real difference across the Humber region, and we are honoured to help support their work through our annual charity event.
